The animated films of Studio Ghibli are among the most well known of all anime. Many are classics, winning numerous awards both in Japan and overseas.
However, elements are often lost in translation. This panel explores those topics as well as other history and trivia of these films.
The total length of the talk is nearly 2 hours and is generally broken into two segments. The first covers the first 10 films (Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind through Princess Mononoke) and the second covers the most recent ones (currently My Neighbors the Yamadas through The Tale of Princess Kaguya). Should a shorter duration be needed, less well known films can be removed.
