The observations were all done with only eclipse glasses, even though I had my telescope<span id='easy-footnote-1-4524' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/jonvoisey.net\/blog\/2024\/04\/data-april-8-2024-total-solar-eclipse\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-4524' title='With appropriate solar filters.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>These times were as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ingress: 12:38pm<br \/>\n&#8211; Beginning of totality: 1:52pm<br \/>\n&#8211; End of totality: 1:56pm<br \/>\n&#8211; Egress: 3:11<\/p>\n<p>Checking the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/eclipse\/in\/@7317882?iso=20240408\">official calculations<\/a>, these observations look pretty good.<\/p>\n<p>For ingress, I was a few minutes late which is unsurprising. Totality is much easier to tell so these are spot on.
