With the lattice finished the goal today was to put the edging and scale on and clean things up.<\/p>\n

To start, we inserted some additional horizontal supports along the outer arms:<\/p>\n

Due to the angle at which the lattice was, the tips poked out a tiny bit, but these could easily be sanded off.<\/p>\n

A square piece for the mounting axle was added and the scale arcs set in place.<\/p>\n

With that done, we added some extra plywood to the arms to add a bit more support and clean up the look, before cutting off the excess bits.<\/p>\n

With that done, we clamped it down for the night to ensure it dried flat.<\/p>\n
