My primary form of outreach presently has been speaking at conventions. I have developed several talks and am constantly working on more. Many of them concentrate on the intersection of popular media and science. A list of my talks can be found here.
In cooperation with the St. Louis Astronomical Society, I sometimes provide my telescope for their public star parties at the St Louis Science Center's first Fridays. For those not familiar with such events, star parties are simply gatherings in which participants do some astronomical viewings.
While doing these events, I'm often asked about the objects we're viewing or other topics, so here I've compiled some information to better explain things.
